Art of Observability (Performance Monitoring)
As system architectures get ever more fragmented (service meshes, microservices), identifying faults and failures become an increasingly worrisome task. Traditional monitoring solutions are deficient in providing visibility beyond infrastructure and platform utilization and saturation. There is a need for a more detail oriented and contextual approach to monitoring to help identify failures earlier in the project lifecycle and provide more context to debug distributed systems. Hence this session on the art of observability, sheds light into challenges of modern monitoring and how existing monitoring capabilities can be adjusted to provide more visibility into the architecture.
