Manage shared licenses offline

If unable to connect to Neotys Team Server from NeoLoad and only in this particular case, you can still lease and release license capacity in an offline mode.

• Warning: Please use the offline mode only when unable to connect to Neotys Team Server.

In this case, you need to:

1. Generate a request file to lease license capacity offline in Neotys Design Studio 5.5.

2. Process the lease request and generate a response file in Neotys Team Server.

3. Import the lease response in Neotys Design Studio 5.5.

   For more information, see Import a lease response in offline mode.

4. Generate a request file to release license capacity offline in Neotys Design Studio 5.5.

   For more information, see Request a release in offline mode.

5. Process the release request and successfully release the license capacity in Neotys Team Server.

• Warning: Once the lease request file .lse has been generated, the lease response file .rsp must be imported back into NeoLoad within 20 minutes.

Choosing Help > License Management > License section gives access to the Manage licenses offline option.
