Installing a Monitoring Agent requires to be part of the sudo group.

• Information: The Agent is automatically declared as a service. The MonitoringAgentService is subsequently launched each time the system is started.

• To install a Monitoring Agent with the GUI installer

1. Open the terminal and type the command:

   sudo sh neoload_5.5_linux_<bitness>.sh

2. Select the Monitoring Agent installation option.

• To install a Monitoring Agent in console mode

• Open the terminal and type the command:

  sudo sh neoload_5.5_linux_<bitness>.sh -c

• To install a Monitoring Agent in silent mode

• Open the terminal and type the command:

  sudo sh neoload_5.5_linux_<bitness>.sh -q -dir <install_dir> "-Vsys.installationTypeId=Monitor Agent" -Vsys.component.Common\$Boolean=true "-Vsys.component.Monitor Agent\$Boolean=true"
