NeoLoad 3.0 is a major new version that provides faster and more efficient testing, while supporting even more Web technologies.
Even Faster!
New Variabilization Engine
Since its very first version, NeoLoad has been able to manage your applications' dynamic parameters without the need for scripts,
saving you precious time at the fine-tuning stage. The new version 3.0 of NeoLoad features a brand new and more powerful analysis
engine for detecting and correlating your test scenarios' dynamic parameters.
Pre-Configured Monitoring
NeoLoad includes monitoring modules to monitor your servers' behavior under load. These monitoring modules, built around an
exclusive technology, do not require you to install anything whatsoever on the servers to be monitored.
Detailed data is retrieved for each different monitor, for example: CPU, memory, system indicator, database or web services engine
settings etc.. This is made even simpler in version 3.0 of NeoLoad, since all these modules are now configured automatically!
By default, NeoLoad selects the most appropriate performance counters, so the monitors are configured faster and more efficiently.
Report Filtering by Time Period
Very early on, NeoLoad set itself apart by providing very detailed analysis reports that automatically summarized the problem
areas in an application's behavior. To focus the analysis on the test's different phases, NeoLoad allows you to filter all
the test results and statistics to concentrate on a particular time period. This allows you to remove the phases of load increase
and decrease from the statistics calculations (average response times, error count etc.), or focus on a particular load level
in a ramp-up load test.
Even More Efficient!
Real-Time Playback Monitoring and Debug Mode
To check the validity of virtual users during a test, NeoLoad allows you to monitor each virtual user's activity in real time.
This real-time monitoring provides an analysis of the HTTP requests exchanged with the server and a visual rendering of the Web pages.
Furthermore, the new Debug mode allows you to make your test scenarios watertight by providing you with the details of all
the virtual users run at the end of the test.
Business Transaction Monitoring
When designing your test scenarios, you will normally record steps in the business application, or "business transactions",
such as a search, an order or a payment. NeoLoad 3.0 allows you to create business transactions as early as the recording stage,
using containers.
This feature provides you with easy and quick access to results and statistics for your application's key functional elements.
Rendezvous Points
The new version 3.0 of NeoLoad handles rendezvous points, which allow you to instruct virtual users to wait at a specified point
in the scenario before continuing. This can be useful, for example, for understanding how a certain part of the application behaves
when subjected to a load peak.
Transaction Pacing
NeoLoad 3.0 allows you to specify a dynamic time delay before beginning another iteration of a transaction.
This delay, or pacing, allows you to control the number of iterations per hour of a particular transaction, however long it may
take to actually execute.
Even More Technologies Supported!
Google Web Toolkit
NeoLoad 3.0 provides complete support for Web applications written using the
Google Web Toolkit development environment. With GWT, you can create up-to-date Web applications using Java, without having to
worry about JavaScript code; you then can test them easily thanks to NeoLoad 3.0 !

Oracle Application Server 10.1 Monitoring
NeoLoad 3.0 supports monitoring for Oracle Application Server 9.x and 10.1.x application servers. This allows you, for example,
to assess the performance of your Oracle Forms or Oracle e-business Suite applications.
