Can NeoLoad perform functional testing ?
NeoLoad is not a functional testing tool. However, it does test content returned by the server under load. Features such as content assertions based on regular expressions make basic functional testing possible.
Can I use NeoLoad on multiple computers ?
A standard single license allows you to install the NeoLoad Controller on one machine only, and the Load Generator on as many machines as you need.

Which web servers does NeoLoad support ?
NeoLoad supports all web servers and application servers – J2EE, .NET, PHP, ASP, CGI , AJAX, SOAP – as long as they are HTTP 1.0 or 1.1 compliant.
How does NeoLoad manage cookies ?
NeoLoad automatically manages cookies; static cookies can be defined directly with the http requests.
Does NeoLoad manage SSL connections to the web server ?
Yes. NeoLoad records and plays secured https requests.
Is it possible to use NeoLoad Controller and Load Generators through a firewall ?
Yes. NeoLoad uses a single communication port between the Controller and the Load Generators. This port can be defined in the configuration files. See User’s Guide.
You may encounter problems with the Load Generator’s autodiscovery function through a firewall, but the manual definition function will work. See NeoLoad architecture.
Can I export NeoLoad graphs as images ?
Yes. All graphs can be exported as PNG image files.
