Neotys provides different licenses types accordingly to the different usages of NeoLoad software.
NeoLoad standard license makes it possible to install the controller on a single computer.
Load generators can be installed on as many computers as required to generate the needed number of virtual users, up to the license limit.
End User License
End User definition: use NeoLoad solely for processing your own data in your internal business operations.
If you wish to use NeoLoad for processing your own clients data and internal business operations at Customer's own clients' owned or controlled facility, please request the “Service Provider” pricing list.

Service Provider License
Service Provider definition: use the Product solely for processing Customer's clients' data and internal business operations at Customer's own clients' owned or controlled facility in the Territory subject to the following limitations.

Floating License
Principle
The floating license is installed on a Neotys License Server, which can be hosted by any machine on a network. The NeoLoad license administrator simply installs the floating license, or licenses, on the designated "Neotys License Server".
Each NeoLoad controller that has access to the Neotys License Server may consult the list of NeoLoad licenses, the details of each license (number of virtual users, modules etc.) and its availability.
A license that has been leased out to one controller is no longer made available to the other controllers. A user may release the license at any time, making it available once again on the Neotys License Server.
NeoLoad's floating license makes collaborating on projects much simpler: using the NeoLoad controller on several machines (consecutively) is now quick and easy.
Deployment
A license may be leased to a controller for a single session; when the NeoLoad controller is closed, the license is released.
Session-based leasing prevents the license being appropriated by a user whose workstation is switched off.
The system also includes a "preferred key" feature, which automatically allocates the last key used for a session, if available. As a result, using the floating license becomes second nature.
The Neotys License Server centralizes key management to avoid keys being lost and to make key updating easier.
