If you already have Neotys License Server 1.0 installed, please follow the procedure below before uninstalling Neotys License Server 1.0.
Procedure 2.2. Transferring the installed licenses
Start Neotys License Server 1.0
Ask all users to release their licenses.
Select the corresponding row for each license, and click the
Transfer key...button.Follow the transfer wizard and note the path of generated files (
license-inactivation.req). Send these files by email to. (See the section called “Transferring a License Key”)Stop Neotys License Server 1.0.
Uninstall Neotys License Server 1.0
Procedure 2.3. Installing the keys
Install Neotys License Server 1.1.
Start the server and administration console.
Install the original license keys (See the section called “Installing a License Key”). Note that the license server keeps a copy of the installed keys. These copies are located in the same folder as the de-activation request files generated during the license transfer.
Follow the activation wizard to activate the key for the current machine. (See the section called “Activating a License Key”)
